WHAT IS ENTHEON?

“Entheon” refers to a place to discover the God within. Alex first offered this name to the renowned Burning Man Camp, birthed in 2006, where many of the best and brightest visionary painters exhibited banners and live paintings in Entheon Village’s various domes and sculptural tents.At CoSM, Entheon, now under construction, will be the sanctuary of visionary art. The first exhibition at Entheon will be the art of Alex Grey including all twenty-one Sacred Mirrors plus over twenty-five of the best loved originals such as Theologue. Cosmic Christ and Net of Being.The sculptural elements of this unique architectural design point to the transcendent unity of the world’s wisdom traditions. New technologies in 3D scanning, modeling and printing will be utilized to bring this vision to manifestation.

This enduring legacy is being manifested through the donations of many visionaries from all over the world.

CoSM, Chapel of Sacred Mirrors honors all paths to spiritual truth, and welcomes everyone who seeks the Divine.

The first exhibition at Entheon will be the entire series of twenty-one Sacred Mirrors plus thirty additional works of art by Alex Grey and Allyson Grey. The extraordinary building design will utilize twenty-first century technologies in 3D modeling and printing to create architectural elements and an entirely sculpted surface. With your help, Entheon will be an enduring sanctuary of visionary art to inspire and evolve the creative spirit.

Estimated cost to build Entheon, complete with elevator, bathrooms, parking, a paved road with lighting… all amenities required of a two-story public building, is about $1.5M.
