Hi, I found your family's work to be some of the most beautiful displays of life I have ever seen. Then again, I just woke up, so who's to say what the future may hold. I am to be moving into the city soon to work on a project you would be interested in. I would love to meet you someday. Warmest Regards. Darin.

Thank you for the penetrative beauty of your work I found "Kissing" last night (a poster at Adyars bookshop Sydney Australia) and it has had a profound effect on letting go of my fear of receiving - the absoluteness of the picture need not make me afraid - I so deeply aspire to that vision and now I welcome it into my life knowing that I had not believed such integral love was mine to flow to me Thank you barriers are down and things are already flowing Love and Light Genevieve Quirk

Dear Alex, You are the greatest artist of our time. I hope that I as well may help this place with oils and wood. But I feel that you have said all that need be. It feels that I cannot paint something that has not already been done, but on the other hand a heart tells that I might bring something to the world that has never been here before. And that this body might have to take over when the great painters, such as yourself, go on. And that I may have to teach the next set of true painters to experience the fact of limitless boundries. I guess what I'm asking is for your blessing. Now after writing all that I feel like a dork. And it seems as if I should listen to myself more often. Because most of the time I'm quite down on myself. I feel like your painting about lack of self love. And sometimes I feel like the middle section of "Journey of the Wounded Healer", like every force is pulling in every direction. And I have no idea why I'm telling all this to you, but I feel a little bit better already. Thank You for including me on your journey. You have taught me more than you know. Again thank you. Hey, maybe someday you'll see my art and will know that I could not have done it without you.

Greetings, Thank you for doing the work that you do, as I have been a student of shamanism, and various modalities of healing work for many years. I paint, also, of the dream realms. I now have a visual reference to explain to the layperson of the situation which we are in cawed life. Hats off to you Alex. I like the shiva lingham and the Huichol spirit guides on your workstation. Good luck to you. Crystals are very good sources of info for healing and introspect as well. Build a grid under your bed and enjoy the ride on the dreamtides. Sincerely, Ed Crim

We have the now to be. Here we are in the moment feeling the essence of consciousness. Unofortunately some momenst reflect no light, while others shine and provide glimpses into eternity. Here Alex you have created a domain, a place in the now for the conscious realization of all that we are and beyond. The Sacred mirrors reflect and give us a window into the beautiful universal and eternal nature of our being. We need others and their power to help guide us to this place in the now where our minds are open and aware of all that we are. Your insight and reflections of what we are better enhances who we are. You have helped the now become a place of realization and exploration. Thank you for taking your light within and making it something we can all be apart of it. When we all start to see and feel that possiblity, we can then begin to embrace the bold and breathtaking nature of who we are. Thank-you for helping me to keep the light in my spirit bright and the openness of my consciousness eternal. Light and love, AzZzA

Your artwork and writing has lent guidance through dark times. You are an inspiration and gift to us all. I am quite interested in the Sacred Mirrors Chapel project. I am currently a student at the Evergreen State College here in Olympia studying in an ecological design program. In our program there is an on-going dialectic concerning the design dimensions of ethicality, sustainability, and beauty. The chapel appears to address these dimensions and in doing so, has resulted in a transcendent form. I am particularly curious as to possible materials and building techniques envisioned for the chapel. It would be great to keep informed about these details. It would also be nice to know the current status of the site selection process. Thanks and much love.

Roughly a decade ago, I first saw the work of Alex Grey in an art magazine. I was absolutely floored. You see, I have my degree in medical illustration, but even while in school I began imagining another way of putting the skills I was learning to use. I had misgivings about the western system of medicine - objectifying the body and ignoring its ties to the mind, spirit and cosmos. In my young mind's eye, which had recently been introduced to psychedelics and yoga, I envisioned someday being able to create images which could portray our physical situation a bit more thoroughly and truthfully. There was a picture there, though I sensed, rather than saw, its refinements. I graduated and did a brief internship, but never persued my degree. I did not forget the overwhelming project I had devised for myself in school, however, and dabbled a little here and there as I slowly familiarized myself with spiritual and energetic philosophies. Then I saw "Praying" and one or two other reproductions of Alex's and I said "Well. There it is." What I was looking at was PRECISELY what I had seen, though dimly, back in school. To this day I lack the technical skill and knowledge and self motivation to undertake such a project successfully. I am damn glad it is being done by another. Thank goodness it wasn't left to me! While such things no longer surprise me, I find similarities of vision among people fascinating. It only seems to confirm some universal truths, doesn't it? I expect that many folks "recognize" your work. I'd love to know how often you get messages like this. Guess I'll peruse the other comments. By the way, what a website!

Dear Alex Grey, I am a freshman at Loyola College in Baltimore, MD and for a recent paper we had to find a piece of art and write not only a 3-page description of the work, but also a 1-page creative response. I am writing because the work that I chose was Nuclear Crucifixion with is being shown in the American Visionary Art Museum. I really have no background experience whatsoever in art at all, but I I have a strong spiritual connection and when I saw your work on the wall, something really empowered me. I've been looking all over the Internet for a downloadable image of the work not only to print and put up in my room, but also to show to my professor. At first sight, I really didn't know what to do. I think I just stood there with my jaw dropped and at the floor, but as I stared at it, I could really see the beauty in the miracle of life and the connection it makes with the soul. Thank You for you wonderful insight. You not only inspire people to think for themselves, which is something that writers lack because of their clear cut ideas, you give us a deeper understanding of sychronicity in its purest sense.--Leigh Ann Mastrini

I would like so much to see those paintings for real, but I don't think I have any chance to realize it in France for the moment, isn't it? 11/23/01 Hello! I just ordered a hardcover of "Sacred Mirrors", and realized that it might be signed by you(Alex). In the order, the first name listed is Rosalinda, which is my legal first name but not a name I go by -- and it is the one on my credit card. If you sign my book, please let know I go by "Baylan". Thank you! I'm hoping to open a center in Albany, CA in January 2002 which will hold classes, seminars, etc. for those in the healing arts and education and research, as well as for individuals looking for information on self-care and their own journey. The goal is to provide a place for exposure to new information in small settings -- to effect future generations. Your work speaks so beautifully to the unseen part of our being, and must have a place in the Center. If you ever plan to come to this area (I found out too late that you were in the area recently!), please let me know and I'd love to meet you -- and perhaps there will be something we can do together! Much love and light to you, Baylan

I first came in contact with your art when I purchased the newest Tool album. Since then I've viewed more of it and I am in awe. I'm an aspiring anthropologist currently enrolled in college, and I hope to pursue a path of knowledge that unites scientific inquiry with the mystic nature of existence. My mission is to trace the development of consciousness through symbolism and to unite those symbols into a collective visual language representative of humanity as a whole. I hope to find as many connections as I can between systems of belief, and I hope to become a teacher so that I can make those connections visible to my students. Experiencing your art was like an affirmation of universal truths that I have known always within. I pray that I can offer to those around me the clarity that I've found here. Thank you for your inspiration and insight.

I am doing a research paper in College and you are my subject. I first saw your work on "Lateralus". Beautiful. I have a few questions and hope that I can get a response as soon as possible so I can finish my research paper. Short answers are fine. Will a "chapel" be built for your Sacred Mirrors project? Can I see these works on display anywhere? Will you ever show your work anywhere in the mid-west? Chicago? Detroit? Thank-you for your time, and I hope to get your answers soon (by Nov. 15 if at all possible).

On Oct 31(Halloween) I attended to a Tool concert in San Diego CA. Nothing I knew about Tool or their music prepared me for the artistic expression exhibited live on stage that night . It was amazing. Alex Gray's work was utilized thruoghout the stage and helped create a sense of transcendance that radiated beond Tools performance. Anyone able to catch the Lateralus tour is highly encourged to do so.

I would just like to comment on the intensity of this site. I haven't felt so connected by just seeing art and reading on someone else's visions of what we all are in a very long time. I have to say that this has inspired me to get back on my path to correctly find out who I am. I would appreaciate more information on how to begin again. Somewhere along the way I have lost myself once more. It always seems like a long path, but I already know that it is not backtracking for it is just more experience to finding who I am and what I am doing on this relm. This will be one of my regularly visited sites and hopefully the information will get me back on track and help head me on a straighter path than I have followed or allowed myself to. Thank you all very much and have a good day. Sincerly Jason R. Barnett.

Hello Alex; I had visited the 1999 venice display. and spoke breifly about several paralleling experiences of visions simulare to the visions of your art. I have been researching the 3 dimensional physics of the human anatomy in flight, and motion as a skydiver. I beleive I submitted a videotape to you 1999. Could you please contact me at this E address if you have received the tape. I did release the right to reproduce in your art work the substance if you wish to use it in your art work. Also I would like to attend another display if your in the Calif. area. I am very enlightened by your work, and have shared your website with many close freinds. The principals apply to all areas of creativity, and the perception of the open mind. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me while in Venice Ca. Sicerely Bruce Graybill

If you would like to assist me in my quest for powerful expression, feel free to send me info on any you have come across, so I may broaden my horizons. Swirling polar force balanced solution, spawning creation his story evolution. Constructing complex cells existence grown, winds breathe sustaining life and seeds are sown. .*. Alex .*. In 95 I was introduced to your book after a very powerful psy-spiritual experience, as the doors were opened to your pages I was engulfed by the power of subtlety and embraced with extacy by the warmth of your (and truely all of ours) visions. Even though the images were apparently alien, they took hold of my soul and free'd from this 3 dimensional world with the 2 dimensional mind and lifted me into dimensions I didn't know exist and I couldn't resist. It took me 2 years to find a copy for my own personal reflections...and the hunt for your book was a wonderous one. I fell in love with a great girl, explored electronic music as a dancer and dj, painted and met many amazing people....Since I have laid the pages before new friends and family like liquid love flowing their fingers, tickling their senses, challenging their belief's and opening their heart to a world that we only wish we always knew but have lived since forever. peace

I feel that some higher power guided me to your book "The Mission of Art". I was browsing at a local bookstore, biding time, waiting for the opening of a gallery show called "Divine" in which I have three paintings. (see I know your work through the book "Sacred Mirrors", which I used to leave lying around for my adolescent daughter to look at, thinking that it would be educational in spiritual, artistic, anatomical, and many other ways! So when I saw the new book on the shelf, I bought it immediately, without even opening it first. One week later, at a "lecture" I gave about my work at the gallery, I ended my talk by quoting this passage from the dialog in the chapter "Art as Spiritual Practice": "So artists need to recognise their own spiritual nature, find a way of manifesting it in their work, and then bring it out in the world so it can do some good...An artist has to find a way to adequately or amazingly convey spirit into their work. It has to be creative and filled with the real, scary fire of infinite love and beauty." After reading the book carefully, I must say thank you for your encouraging, inspiring, and clear words.

Dear Mr. Grey, It is very seldom that i find art that I can feel such a strong energy from. so little thought goes into so much of the art that is produced today, that It is very refreshing to find art that satisfies me on so many levels. Dear Alex: I just wanted to take the time to tell you, that in light of all the tragety that has surrounded us in this moment of time, I still can find some truth in your work as to why we do the things we do. The mind is an uncompleted puzzle that we piece together with each new experience, and I feel that the pieces being formed and ultimatly fitted recently are not the chosen ones for the majority of us, including myself. I hope you continue to spread your work to everyone who has sight, heart, and feeling because that is the ultimate of rewards. I will forever be changed in the ways I personally view things as a result of your artwork. I know not to be predjudice to my fellow man and woman, and I know not to do rash acts that could cause even more discomfort in the placing of the mind and body. Thank you again for your experiences. Let our keeper and creator be our guide through these awful events, and let your artwork reflect how we see each other, and how to comprehend what can be done to resolve these horrific times. Thank You for your time.

I have admired your works for quite some time and even used some of the images in meditation, much like Tibetan Tankas. They represent more than just image and often invoke my most intuitive associations with spiritual realms. Your images of man and woman and child are especially moving to me these days as I work my way through "Grace and Grit" by Ken Wilber and am engaged in a new relationship that feels more like finding a long lost parner again! I look forward to your visit to Boulder. I'm just getting technologically inclined and am excited to find people like you out here in cyberspace! i annexed your site through the Terrence McKenna site FYI. Ciao for Niao, Jason

Hello there! I just decided to peruse the site again to see if there was anything new and I just thought I'd leave a little "note" for you. Your artwork, when I discovered it, aided me in finally understanding the synchronious nature of my soul in relation to the world I thought I was seperate from. Your art has moved me whilst under the influence, yes, for that time being...but in a more expansive way, as if there is another line of time stretching in what used to be the dark to me, everyday of my life. Your artwork is like a fond elder that shared the most subtle ounce of wisdom and humbling love with me. It has spurred my imagination and it has allowed me to remember that which is. There are limitless ways in which I could express my feelings for your love and your life and how you have manifested it. I just wanted to let you know that you, along with every other experience in my life, have allowed me to see the ways in which everything is "solid". Everything touches. There is a material out in front of me, throughout me. There is a sound, a resonance, an echo, a love, and you are a special part of that. Thank you again. Sincerely, Dean

Wonderful to have recently been introduced to your work, and now to find your website! You are very much a kindred spirit in your single-minded working through life issues to what lies 'beyond'. Incidentally, the fellow who introduced me to your work is a painter who you might find interesting in his own right, though his style is very different. I myself am not a painter but a visionary composer, and my work can be explored from my website. I greatly look forward to your future major paintings. It feels like we've already met, but I look forward to our meeting in this physical dimension, whether or not it would be in this lifetime. My very best wishes, Philip. P.S. I first heard the name Alex Grey on Tool's website a while back and decided to click on the link. "If Tool appreciate his artwork, it's probably worth a shot," I thought. I looked over the website briefly and saw and read enough to interest me, so I decided to buy "Sacred Mirrors" to read and examine at my own pace (and not in front of a computer screen.) As I read through it, I came across a painting that just amazed me: "The Universal Mind Lattice." This painting was exactly what I had seen during a previous experience, but I could never explain it or even try to visualize it in a material way. Seeing this made me realize that Alex Grey was nothing short of brilliant. So all I really have to say is "Thank You."

First off, I must say that i was turned on to your work by the new Tool album. After I took off the outer sleeve, my jaw simply dropped. I could not believe the detail and precision of what lay in front of me. At first i suspected that Adam Jones had another hidden talent, but then the back of the CD led me to your name. Who is Alex Grey? One week later I have your book The Mission of Art on order at It arrived in the mail today, and i have been caught up in it all evening. Basically, I just want to say thank you. You have expressed in detail ideas that have been crossing my mind for several years. I feel as if i have found someone else who "understands." I make music, and your artwork and writings make me want to do better... You are an inspiration to me, as well as countless others. You are appreciated. Thanks, Ryan

Your work is absolutely astonishing and original. I find the result of stripping people of their flesh, their façade, and exposing them and their actions for the purely spiritual and physiological -- rather than what we see daily -- as shocking and eye-opening as the philosophies behind your work. Much respect for your work with Tool and for appearing on the cover of DMT: The Spirit Molecule, among other things.

Thank you for new inspiration from your writing. I have begun the journey inward, to the inner infinity. In your writings, you have allowed me the freedom of inner expression. I am not trained in the arts, but do find every aspect to be enlightening. My contribution to human nature stems from contact with the "daily grind", thus inspiring new people when my soul nudges with theirs, whether it be for 5 minutes or an hour of conversation, makes a lifetime of difference. Your work on the TOOL'S Lateralus CD was so moving for me...I became aware of the trip, deep beneath the skin, I was about to begin. I hope someone reads these things! I just wanted to drop a line to you to let you know how enlightening I found your book to be. I am a third year student in art school here in D.C. and have been a painter for 8 years. I agree with the basic principles you put forth in your book for artists as healers and the importance of higher principles embedded deeply in the narrative aspects of art works. Your artwork has power that is quite rare in the modern wasteland of ego-serving iconic drivel. I know many people tell you this i'm sure. I myself have been influenced by a lot of sacred geometry and relativistic (curved space) imagry. wheteher or not you are familiar with these concepts by name, you have intuitivly produced them time and again in your work. As you continue to grow, realize what an inspiration you are to your younger colleagues. I feel at times that there is no real outlet anymore ffor content orioented painting, the kind that vaults the viewer; kind of kicking the public in the pants and spurring their own development. I wanted to let you know that your work is tremendous in many ways and hope that you continue. in the name of the architect, ENOXONE

It has been a pleasure viewing your web site. I originally heard of your site from Bach after I purchased Lateraus a few weeks ago. I was really inspired by your wife's biography...especially the insite to her visualizing energy flows among ppl. I was recently given "The Celestine Prophecy" and although I still consider it fiction I can truly relate to most of what it contains. Hell, just ask Bach about me and energy...: ) Anyhow, your works are energizing and brings a reflection of the beauty beyond skin and covering to the soul underneath. With that said, "It was a true pleasure viewing you site and look forward to enjoying a new found wonder. Sincerely Yours, Dawn E. McCarroll

I was on Tool's official web site one day and they just posted the new album cover. I was studying the piece and it looked so familiar. I remembered.."oh yeah..that looks like Alex Grey's work..I hope he is not getting ripped off." Can we say "DOH@!" I am glad Alex had the chance to work with Tool. I am a huge fan and when I am working at the art table there is a good 50% chance that I am listening to TOOL (the other 50% is Nine Inch Nails). Hope to see Alex's work in person in NY soon. Hm, I'm a little confused. I really love this art, it's unique, something I've never seen before. There is not much art I enjoy, and this is almost exceptional. But I somehow hate the poems... How can this be? I guess I despise the idea of some higher being, for I am rather Taoistic, and I usually don't criticize any approaches to find one's inner peace, but this kinda ... donnow... I can't even say why, so I better shut my hole and get off the computer; one ought to remain in silence concerning things one cannot talk about, eh?

Alex Greys' works are like journeys deep into my imagination and they bring forth beauty and intrigue. Another artist who does the same but on a darker level is Ashley Wood. In my own art I am merging the two forms and making my own style. The art is a journey that takes on many forms and is vast as an open field. I hope that the art by Alex inspires more people. To me, the art represents a persons center being and how you must learn how to express your own individuality.

I have now discovered three artists in a week who have had a profound effect on me; Viera de Silva, Roberto Matta, and you. Good fun. Great site, great visuals! I am enjoying the new expansions and improvements that are evident around these pages.........definitely one of the most stimulating of all the www.someone' website. Glad to see that Alex (and his webmasters) went to some extra efforts to keep visitors coming back for all the stuff they can't possibly catch the first, or tenth time around. Gonna spend the next few visits on his writings (from poems to essays), and then the bibliography has enough information refrenced to keep us(artist underlings) busy until the year 3000. The shop looks like a steal, I was expecting everything to be at least twice as expensive as advertised........gotta admit, the blindfold seems a teensy bit cheesy(no flashing lights or apparatis?) Everything else for sale looks cherry, wish an original piece was affordable for my meager salary, alas, the posters and audio tape will likely be mine before long...... Hello, I first came across your work in High Times magazine and subsequently began running across more work at friend's houses and through the band Tool.Recently, during inner explorations I have come across your work as well, which brings up the interesting concept of Life imitating Art and vice versa. I have witnessed the flames from Theologue and the evergazing eyes that are represented in quite a bit of your paintings.I sometimes wonder if this is a direct result from my physical viewing of your artwork, but a more logical explanation seems to be that we are witnessing the same visions..LIFE in its purest form. I have had similar experiences with other artforms as well, particuarly Celtic Knotting. Well, just wanted to let you know that your work is a major inspiration and has helped me to discover self expression once again.

Dear Alex I found your sacred Mirrors book extremely inspiring. I think everyone should know who you are! I have never seen anything like your work, I wish they would teach children about the chakras and energy bodies in school. Some people still believe this is pure fantasy. I agree with you that the artist's mission is to inspire and stimulate the mind, stir the soul. I know that deep connections are made through gazing at a painting or listening to music; I believe that pure creativity is a catalyst, reaching a very ancient part of the soul. When I first saw your paintings of the Psychic Energy System and the Spiritual Energy System I felt a jolt in my heart. It was a wonderful discovery, thank you. I'm a new artist. Although not at all in the same league, I believe that my paintings come from the same place as yours do - it's a wonderful adventure. My web site is I hope you get a chance to take a look, I'm new to this, I don't really know what to expect. I hope in some way to contribute, I want to share the joy that I experience when these paintings are coming through. Thanks again for your wonderful work All best wishes. Alex and Allyson, For the past two years I have been standing at the end of the road that I had been traveling on my entire life. This road has not been a straight and easy path, but the most important paths never are. I have been standing frozen at this end point, looking at the infinite roads from which I might choose, trying to decide which one I should take. I have spent this frozen time concentrating on listening to that still small voice inside, trying to glean some sort of adivce to help me make this decision. The only thing that I have heard is God saying to me, "You do not have to make this decision". I soon as I conceeded to this, my path became clear. Your art came to me at a time in my life when I would understand it most. It has shown how to blend all of the ideas that I have held sacred and important in life. Spirituality,Science, Love and Art. Visions that I have had my entire life but have never been able to express artistically, I have seen expressed beautifully in both of your works. This has helped me see that the mission I have always had, deep inside myself wating for the skill to express, is now ready to be explored. You both have shown me how to show the world the light and love of God/Universe. I say God/Universe, because God is the Universe and the Universe is GOd. Thank you for the strength you have given me and the millions of other people who have viewed your work. From your ability to express the beauty in this world, ourselves, and in our connection to this world, you have given us all the ability to see and do the same.

I must say that it is a relief to see someone of this ability so marvelously documenting the vivid and inspiring Beauty of Life. Can't get enough of the artwork. It is so intense. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I have spent many hours lost in some of your pieces. I must also congreatulate you on your exquisite attention to detail. As a medical student I was both keenly aware and impressed by the anatomical correctness. Thanks again.

I love your work. I received two posters of your work at a Shaman Journey. A friend just told me he had seen your work in Washington D.C. Are you doing any shows currently? Or could I receive some sort of schedule, if you have one. Thank you. VA

Is this what it looks like inside of you too? Is your innner world the same as mine, and could *ours* be universal? I never thought I would have an experience of the internal so beautifully and accurately expressed externally. Thank you. I'm (practically) speachless.

Well, let's see. I saw your work, it really defines what art is: represents what i cannot expess on my own visually. I have used your images in my life for more than 10 years now; how I see the world, and how I interpret my surroundings and experiences, and even what I look foreward to attaining. I have also used your images in philosophical lectures and communicating what I feel is there. I hope to meet and express my appreciation one day. Now that that's said, Keep enjoying your lives. Sending you loving energy.

I cannot find the words to express how your art makes me feel and think. All I will say is that the English language does not do you justice, for there are no words to describe how beautiful your art makes me feel. Peace out. Always feel, always think! Thank-you very much!

People are held back by their finite tongues to describe phenomena too large and contradictory for words. Art is the only true medium of expression of the universe.

"The spiral of energy emerses me up to the light and my heart is an open matrix for all of the world to see" There is a time (as we know it) and place (anywhere) for all things, we must teach others to entrust their whole earthly being to this. You see us as we truly are from within and have been entrusted to bring forth the truths that are now to be brought into the forefront. Those of us with word art are also bound by this code so it is without speaking that I acknowledge your presence. In warmest light I AM Rev. Chantal Farabee The Healing Soul

Much gratitude for the inspired artwork. Where would we be without enlightened beings & ascended masters to whisper in our ears? Take a peek at a couple of psychedelic images:

One night I drank a tea of mushrooms, syrian rue seeds, and illinois bundleflower rootbark. I saw a lattice similar to that in "Dying", but filled with images of ganesh rather than eyes. Later, I saw a writhing network of sperm-like souls similar to those on the inside of the cover of Mission of Art, and *knew* for the first time that part of myself is immortal and has and will reincarnate many, many times. Namaste.

I discovered your "Sacred Mirrors" book in the first year of my Art Gallery business. Seeing that book and reading your thoughts on the inextricable connection between the creation of art and Spirit struck a huge and profoundly resonant chord. it also helped to shape the direction of this venture in some very important ways. After wrestling with the very real challenges of being (and staying!)in business AND being able to integrate and facilitate such a project while maintaining personal/spiritual integrity (both my own AND the artist friends I work with), I found in your work much-needed clarity regarding these matters. Now, having read your excellent "Mission of Art" book twice, I know that these notions I had were sound and viable. Accordingly, after several very difficult fledgling years, I've a new energy and understanding in my efforts to help bring more of this art out into the collective consciousness; What a great job I now have; thanks! And, as a delightful adjunct, I finally have reason & sound motivation to return to producing my own work as well. Much appreciation to you for sharing your work and spirit with the rest of us. There's much work to be done in this area with vast benefits and blessings to our further evolution and spiritual development. Again, much thanks!

Alex and Allison- For years in the rave scene, I dissmissed your art as "art for people in to trance music," to which I do not like. I was recently over at a friends house and he showed me your book "The Mission of Art, " to which I could not put down. It seems that not only are you extremely talented, but obviously think on a different or "higher" plain. Your painting "Transfigurations," captivated me in such a way, that every time I see my friends poster of it, all I do is stare at it. Your work is a inspiration to me and perhaps one day you will make it back out to southern california for another show. Peace be on to you and your family and Godspeed.
